About
A champion for independent physician practices.
I'm a senior healthcare operations executive with over 15 years building, scaling, and transforming for-profit healthcare organizations across private-equity and physician-owned platforms. I've led cross-functional teams of 550 employees across nine business platforms with a $95M operating budget.
My strength is genuine human connection — with employees, physicians, payers, and vendors. That's how I've negotiated high-value partnerships and aligned everyone around a common growth strategy. I'm a servant leader who builds high-performing teams that consistently deliver measurable results.
After a career as a CEO, COO, and SVP, I want to be a champion for the independent practices struggling to thrive in a world dominated by hospital systems and large MSOs. I bring senior executive consultation to small and mid-sized groups that find a full-time CEO cost prohibitive.
Outside of work, I'm spending time with my family, staying active, and coaching my son's baseball and basketball teams. The same playbook applies — show up, listen, and help the team perform at their best.

Industry Reality
Healthcare By The Numbers.
Why all private practices need executive advisory more than ever.
60%+
of total revenue consumed by overhead
Private medical practice costs routinely consume upwards of 60% of total revenue in overhead alone — leaving razor-thin margins to fund growth, technology, and talent.
11.1%
year-to-date operating expense increase
Medical practice leaders reported an average year-to-date operating expense increase of approximately 11.1%, driven largely by staffing salary and benefits pressure.
−33%
real decline in Medicare physician payments
Medicare physician payments have fallen by about 33% over the past quarter-century, after adjusting for inflation — a structural headwind that compounds every year.
Track Record
The industry trends up. His outcomes bend the other way.
Three charts, three forces working against independent practices in Massachusetts — and how Jarett has operated against each.
The Cost Curve
While MA per-capita spend climbed ~40% over a decade, he cut supply costs 16%.
Massachusetts per-capita Total Health Care Expenditure rose from roughly $8.0K in 2013 to over $11.5K in 2024 — a relentless climb that squeezes every independent practice's margins. Against that current, Jarett negotiated a group-purchasing-organization contract that delivered a 16% reduction in medical supply costs for his organization.

The Benchmark
Commercial spending keeps breaching the state's 3.1% cost benchmark. His growth was profitable, not expensive.
The HPC's annual benchmark for healthcare cost growth sits at 3.1%. Statewide commercial spending has consistently exceeded it. Within that environment, Jarett drove 300% profit growth at the Orthopedic Surgical Center of the North Shore over three years and delivered 9% year-over-year growth at Physical Therapy North since inception — growth that compounds margin, not cost.

The Independence Squeeze
As MA physicians get absorbed into hospital systems, he kept opening doors for the independent.
The share of Massachusetts physicians employed by hospitals or health systems has climbed past 70% — a structural shift that prices independents out of growth. Jarett opened a fifth operating room under budget at an independent ASC, producing 24% surgical case-volume growth and 1,000+ incremental cases in a single year.
